We are very excited to share the inspiration and process of how our DECADE Collection was created. When we set out to craft our this collection, we wanted to pay respect to some of the original luxury products we designed 10 years ago, with a modern twist to make sure it not only featured the world’s most premium materials but also told a story that we hope will inspire.
To round out the design we partnered back up with 2 of our original founding team members and the co-Founders of IKONICK, Jeff Cole and Mark Mastrandrea - creators of some of the world’s best and most recognizable art created to motivate and inspire through storytelling.
From our first meeting, our partner JJ made sure the collection included a modern interpretation of our original “Bar” design and the White BAR concept we showed Jeff reminded him of the original construction of the ancient pyramids with their white limestone and gold tops. This connected with one of IKONICK’s most popular art collections, the ”Empire Series”, created to tell the stories of being a team member, leader, entrepreneur, and the grit it requires to power forward amidst adversity.
These 10 hieroglyphic stories became the custom interior lining of each hat in our DECADE Collection. A simple reminder of the highs and lows, hard work, and dedication that we have all been through in varying capacities of life and a reminder to press onward.
