Alex Belew is a chef, educator, fitness advocate, musician, and proud family man whose journey from his grandmother’s kitchen to national recognition is a testament to passion, perseverance, and purpose. Born and raised in Tennessee, Alex discovered his love for cooking at a young age, learning by his grandma’s side and falling in love with the way food brings people together. He turned that passion into a career, earning a Culinary Arts degree, sharpening his skills in commercial kitchens, and later opening his own restaurant; an award-winning venture grounded in integrity, flavor, and heart. After years in the industry, Alex pivoted toward education, teaching kids about nutrition and the power of food, before stepping into the spotlight as a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen. There, his discipline, creativity, and Southern charm led him all the way to victory, earning the coveted title of Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Caesars Atlantic City.
