Boats, Boards & Birdies: Tahoe Through the Golf With Flavor Lens

Boats, Boards & Birdies: Tahoe Through the Golf With Flavor Lens

There’s just something about Tahoe — the water, the mountains, and the perfect mix of adventure and laid-back living. For Episode 4 of the Golf With Flavor Show, hosted by Justin Eldridge and presented by melin, we headed out for the American Century Championship week and packed it all in: fairways, wake surfing, boat hangs, and lakeside eats.

Fairways with a Pro

We kicked things off Thursday at Clear Creek, linking up with Patrick Peterson. Justin walked the fairways with the NFL star, swapping stories between swings and diving into an on-course interview that touched everything from football to life off the field. The mountain backdrop made it all feel a little more cinematic — the kind of round you don’t rush.

First Time in the Wake

Friday, we swapped golf shoes for a board. Justin teamed up with Logan Lisle and Alexa Score for his first-ever wake surfing session behind the best boat possible, the MasterCraft X24. Tahoe sun overhead, good crew on deck — watching your host stand up for the first time and carve the wake? That’s Golf With Flavor in motion.

Golf from the Water

Saturday brought us right to the heart of the American Century Championship — but we didn’t watch from the gallery. We pulled the melin MasterCraft X24 up to the beach outside the 17th green and caught the tournament action from the water, chatting with fans drifting by and soaking up Tahoe’s best weekend of golf from our favorite seat in the house.

Lake Lunch Done Right

We wrapped the weekend the way you’re supposed to out here — feet in the lake and plates full at Gar Woods Grill in North Lake. A cold drink, good people, and Tahoe lapping at your toes — no better way to sign off.

Fairways, wakes, and lake days — that’s how we do it with Golf With Flavor. Until the next one.
