Ready to Head to Maui?!

melin x Westin Maui Resort & Spa Giveaway

There’s just nothing like a sweet escape from the hustle ‘n bustle this time of year to recalibrate, right? You know, Mai Tais by the pool, dig your feet in the sand and watch the sun sink into the warm Pacific Blue. Golden hour. Green Flash. Island Time!

Consider that lamp rubbed, and maybe, your wish could be our command.

For the entire month of November, every purchase on our site enters you to win a 4-Day Trip for two to Hawaii, a lá the newly renovated Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali.

To be clear, this is what the lucky winner gets:

  • Roundtrip airfare (Economy) to Maui
  • 4-Night stay at Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali's Hokupa'a Luxury Tower
  • $200 Game Card at Westin's NEW Social Space, including TopGolf Swing Suites!
  • 2 Luau tickets
  • Transportation to/from airport
  • $500 Shopping Spree at the melin Whaler's Village Customer Experience Lab

As if a trip to Maui, aka The Valley Isle, isn’t dreamy enough, a stay at the Westin exemplifies the finer things in vacation life.

Let’s Talk About the Pool…

Specifically, the virtual Waterworld at Westin they call the Kawaiola Aquatic Playground. Basically six gorgeous pools overlooking Ka‘anapali Beach, spanning 87,000 square feet of pool playground epicness. Highlights include a serene adults-only pool deck with an infinity pool and hot tub. Kinds in tow? They’ve got you covered with the newly designed family area including an interactive splash zone and an iconic 270-foot water slide.

We can speak from experience here, DO treat yourself to their world-renowned Lana’i Hala Kahiki once poolside. It’s got this local honey rim…trust us, it’s the best.

Also…

There’s stunning beachfront cabanas, and a brand new Social Space with adults-only hours.

A mix of laid-back vibes with high-octane entertainment, the new Social Space features a cutting-edge arcade, a TopGolf swing suite, bespoke food and beverage offerings, and basically, a one-of-a-kind experience unique in the Kā‘anapali area, built for locals and visitors alike.

How About the Eats?

Quite a few dining options on site, such as Ulu Kitchen by Merriman, which features the freshest island ingredients and carefully crafted food made from scratch. Then, there’s Hale Moʻolelo, an outdoor bar in Ka'anapali inspired by the art of storytelling, offering seven handcrafted cocktails, each tied to a story about Maui, all paired with delicious local cuisine. Hale ʻĀ, is near the new adults-only pool deck and is a sophisticated pool bar serving artisanal cocktails and bites (preferably consumed with your feet in the water). If you’re in a hurry, there’s the Mahele Market & Eatery, a new Starbucks, and also, The Valley Alley Pub, located in that Social Space we recommended.

Wait, did you say golf back there?

Yep. Lucky for you, part of the renovation is an actual TopGolf Swing Suite in the Westin, where you and yours can work on that drive, while you kick back and enjoy some drinks without having to leave the resort. If golf isn’t your thing, there’s actually super fun duckpin bowling in the Social Space, too.

About That Luau…

Part of this amazing package is two tickets to the luau, and we can tell you from experience, it does not disappoint. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Hawaiian Islands through ‘oli (story) and hula (dance) over a traditional island-style dinner, all while taking in the stunning sunset across the ‘Au‘au Channel on the beautiful Ka‘anapali Coast. The traditional fire knife dancing ceremony is unforgettable.

How about that Spa?

One word: Heavenly. No, like, literally, it’s called the Heavenly Spa and they offer it all, from couples treatments to facials to CBD massages to Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage — you name it.

Yoga goes down next door at the Mind & Body Studio, if that’s more your speed…or if you’re a bit more active, there’s actually a RunWestin Group Run that meets on the front lawn and hoofs it through beautiful Ka‘anapali. Of course, there’s a full gym with Peloton bikes at your disposal, too.

Hit the Green

Golf? Duh. And a hell of a course, at that. The Ka'anapali Kai Golf Course offers a beautiful setting with views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains, featuring strategic shots, lush fairways, challenging holes, and stunning scenery. A truly solid choice for both seasoned golfers and those looking to enjoy a shorter round. The Kai Course complements the nearby Royal Ka'anapali Course, FYI.

Off-Site But in the Area…

Definitely get your shopping on at Whaler’s Village, an easy three-minute stroll North of the resort. From OluKai to Louis Vuitton, the 67 stores and 12 restaurants at this shopping mall offer endless options and pleasure. Dine at spots like Hula Grill Ka‘anapali, Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman (DO hit that world-famous Mai Tai there), Leilani's on the Beach, Nikki's Pizza and more.

BUT most importantly, there’s a melin CEL (Customer Experience Lab) there, and with that $500 shopping spree we’re up for grabs, you can purchase exclusive melin x Hawaii products that actually give back to the local community. Pretty rad, no?

If snorkeling’s your thing, we highly recommend an underwater look around Black Rock, a short walk from the Westin. You can rent snorkel gear from the resort, too, if you didn’t bring a mask and fins - they’ll hook you up.

House of the Rising Sun…

Haleakala National Park is a wilderness area and a sacred landscape, continuously reverberating with the echoes of Hawaiian culture and ancestry. Experiencing the Sunrise Ceremony at the park is one of the most popular things to do in Maui. The national park also offers ample opportunity for hiking, learning about the plants, animals and history, guided activities, and beautiful natural scenery. You can set up a tour for this if you’d like through the Westin as well.

Every purchase this month gets you entered into the melin X Westin Maui Resort Sweepstakes, so maybe giving the gift of melin this holiday season might pay off for you in the long run! Whether you win or not, we’ve hopefully got you dialed for you next trip out to Maui. See you there!
