melin x BCMSF: Supporting Lifeguards in Puerto Escondido
melin is proud to support the Ben Carlson Memorial & Scholarship Foundation on their latest global lifeguard outreach trip to Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
Known for its heavy surf and tight-knit community, Puerto holds a special place in the Foundation’s heart. The BCMSF team delivered much-needed gear inclusive of uniforms from Florence Marine X, fins from Yucca, rescue buoys, and of course - melin hats to keep the local crew protected on the job.
We’re honored to help carry Ben Carlson’s legacy forward—supporting lifeguards around the world with the gear they need and the respect they’ve earned. The Foundation’s global outreach has made a powerful impact in communities like Nicaragua, Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo, South Africa, and during the Greek Refugee Crisis—always with the same mission at heart: to build stronger, safer beach communities by standing behind the people who put their lives on the line to protect them. We’re proud to be part of that purpose.
